Dr. Summers has been a practicing Chiropractic Physician in the Huntsville area since 1993. Dr. Summers has been featured in the summer 2003 issue of the Who's Who of Huntsville publication. Prior to moving to Huntsville, Dr. Summers spent five years working in the fitness industry developing fitness and weight loss programs for individuals in St. Louis Missouri. Currently Dr. Summers supports many of the athletic events in Huntsville area. Just recently Dr. Summers has started assisting several distance runners in the area. We support Fleet Feet in south east Huntsville for their knowledge with proper footing attire for athletic performance. Dr. Summers is also very involved with the Calvin's Twisters Gymnastics Team by treating a variety of athletic injuries. Dr. Summers continues with his community involvement by assisting the Camelot Recreation Association springboard diving program in Southeast Huntsville. Dr. Summers a holder of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners Certificate of Attainment, 1992. Dr. Summers recieved his license from the Alabama State Board of Chiropractic Examiners in 1993. He is also a member of the North Alabama Chiropractic Society.

Education


Dr. Summers is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis Missouri. Prior to Logan college, he attended the University of Arizona on an athletic scholarship for springboard diving.

We treat many varieties of problems such as Neck and Back Pain, Numbness and or tingling in the arms and legs from a HERNIATED DISC , Herniated disc Scoliosis, Auto accident injuries, Whiplash, Tendonitis, Sciatica, Tennis Elbow, Golfers Elbow and other related Sports Injuries. Dr. Summers is active in treating athletes in many different sports. Many Volleyball athletes seek Chiropractic care for their injuries. Dr Summers supports ROCKET CITY VOLLEYBALL CLUB.
Treatment methods used by Dr. Summers are, Diversified manual manipulation, Activator, Thompson drop tables, Cox Flexion Distraction and Spinal Decompression. Physical Theraputic modalities used are Interferential stim, Russian Stim, Ultrasound, Intersegmental Traction, Rehabilitative Exercise , Ice and heat.
